Tour Info

Tour Route

Our route has been designed by tour manager and Guide Jay, who spends the season working in Spain. And has spent many years working and riding with local riders in the Pyrenees Mountains and will be on hand to help with any questions.

For both the guided or Self-guided tours you can start from either Santander ferry port Spain, or if you wish to ride down through France and start from the first hotel in Spain just drop us an email.

This is a sealed roads tour, there might be the odd car park or layby which is unsealed.

A fantastic three days in the Pyrenees on excellent roads with awesome views and a first class guide. It was my first bike trip abroad and Jay chose a route and I could manage and riding time which suited me. The hotels were clean, comfortable and convenient – and we had plenty of stops en route. I was able to experience all kinds of roads from hairpins to motorways. I was quite nervous at first but Jay is reassuring, helpful and knows the area well. All the planning is done for you, including a choice of bikes. All you have to do is get to the suburbs of Barcelona – no need to ride in the city. Great personal service with easy communication via Whats-app. I really recommend this trip and intend to do it all again if I can – the other way round!

Excellent solo tour through the Pyrenees. Picked up the bike from Barcelona – really easy, straightforward process. The roads are fantastic and the route chosen by Jay was spectacular. Easy to follow taking me through varied riding conditions with suggestions for places to stop. All the accommodation was good, clean and the hotel staff were friendly. This was such a great experience and I have to credit Overland tours and Jay. The back up offered by Jay was reassuring- always at the end of the phone or what’s app – great personal service. Save yourself time and hassle and just book a tour with Overland !

Our tour guide, Jay, made our trip memorable. We had a wonderful time. We rode a wide variety of routes with breathtaking scenery, fun and challenging roads. The selection of restaurants for our daily lunch stops was excellent. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Our nightly accommodations were all in great locations and met all of our needs. We stopped at a variety of interesting places during the tour which enhanced our experience and increased understanding of the region. Jay has done considerable research on the region, its roads and places to visit. We highly recommend this tour!

Overland Motorcycle Tours met us at the outgoing ferry and guided us along the best roads the Pyrenees have to offer. All the hotels were excellent with consideration for secure parking. GPS routes are provided so you can find your own way if you prefer. Lunch stops away from tourist areas and interesting visits along the way enhanced the experience. You do need to be ready for some fairly long days in the saddle but it is well worth the effort. Thanks to Jay and Alan. Recommended.

Fantastic tour organised by Jay. Excellent coordination and planning resulted in a thoroughly enjoyable 8 days riding through the Pyrenees across numerous, beautiful mountain passes and flowing valley roads. All the hotels we stayed in were excellent with secure parking for our bikes.
Two of our group (including myself) opted to go via Brittany Ferries on our own bikes, which worked really well with a relaxing night in a comfotable cabin. Fly & ride also an option.
By far the best and easiest way to enjoy the best roads in the Pyrenees thanks to Overland’s choice of routes, which Jay has gone to great efforts to perfect!
Many thanks, Phill
