Entry into Morocco: can be confusing as the entry system keeps changing, plus the customs forms are written in Arabic or French. So we have translated the forms, and help you complete the forms before traveling to save confusion. We will also be with you at the port to ensure everyone gets through.
This is a guided tour: – with the Full support of a professional tour guide, either riding / leading or driving the support van,
As from 2018 the Spanish routes will be self-guided then Guided in Morocco. your guide will be on hand to help with border crossings into Morocco and hotel check-ins, etc.
Riding conditions: – For the Imperial Motorcycle tour Morocco are exciting and challenging due to the varied terrain, dry atmospheric conditions strong sunlight, livestock and people on the roads, high mountain passes, canyons, and desert plains.
Riding experience for Morocco: Intermediate to experienced. Riding conditions can be a little challenging if you are a new or inexperienced rider we would recommend trying one of our Pyrenees tours first.
Insurance for Morocco: If you are starting from the UK you will need to arrange suitable travel and bike insurance for riding your bike in Morocco, some British insurance companies will cover you whilst riding outside the EU. If renewing your policy before the tour, check with your company if they will cover you for Morocco and ask to pay the extra for cover at the time of renewal.
As a last resort its possible to obtain insurance at the border into Morocco, Which is standard practice for other vehicles.
If you have any questions: we are always happy to talk contact here or drop us an email and we can call you back.
Fantastic trip from start to finish with a great bunch of people. Jay that owns overland tours could not do enough for everyone, knows first class how to book the best places to stay and Raz the best roads and places to go. Trip of a lifetime and something that we will never forget.met up with great people on the tour and was just like a big family get together.
Just back from the Imperial Morocco Tour. It was a totally epic adventure well beyond my expectations. A group of 10 of us went, mind-blowing, fantastic hotels, great roads, great group of people, very professional. It was an adventure of a lifetime. Couldn’t recommend it any higher, 100 %. Will definitely be back with another group WELL DONE TO ALL AT OVERLAND MOTORCYCLE TOURS
Just returned from The Imperial Morocco Tour and I have to say I and all the other participants had a fantastic experience. From the initial information provided after booking to the itinerary of the tour, everything was well organized by Jay and well executed by tour leader Raz. The standard of the hotels and the locations visited were first class and I would have no hesitation recommending Overland Motorcycle Tours.
Just returned from the Morocco tour with Overland and would rate it as 10 stars if I could! It was professional and well planned from the start with a meeting with a tour rep at Plymouth before jumping on the ferry.
The routes were excellent and the hotels a high standard being well placed to enjoy all of the places we visited. The welcome at the hotels was also lovely and it was clear Jay had a good personal relationship with them and they were pleased to see him return.
Routes in both Spain and Morocco were excellent and an exciting mix of surfaces and riding styles.
I recommend this tour for the culture, excitement, and feeling of adventure whilst being in safe hands.
